In these first two views, the motor is
placed shaft down in the fixture, the three arms are
dropped into the slots provided, and the belly band
(shaped like a flattened letter 'W') is laid across the
fixture between the motor and the pneumatically operated
yoke.
The position of the belly band on the motor can be
controlled by placing a spacer block of the appropriate
thickness in the bottom of the fixture. |
In view 3, the pneumatic cylinder is
activated to the forward position, wrapping the band
around the arms and motor, and holding it in place to
allow the operator to secure the assembly with a
fastener. Views 4 and 5 are of the completed assembly. |
