Repair and Replacement Bearings
- WHAT BEARING DO I HAVE??
- 4 or 2 bolt side flanges HVAC, (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) with rubber cushions
- Pedestal or Hanger bearing replacements
- 2 bolt with extended oiler
| Do not forget that the shaft is
the other half of a bearing. It must also be in
good condition or it will wear out your replacement
bearing in a big hurry. Don't forget to smooth out the marks left by shaft collar set screws before trying to slide a bearing over them -ouch! We do not have shafting, but a length of standard cold-drawn round from your local steel supply warehouse should work just fine in most cases. |
